Recent Phoronix testing shows that AMD's Linux optimizations in the kernel, GCC, LLVM, and drivers deliver consistent gains across compilation, scientific computing, gaming, databases, and containers on Zen 4 hardware. Improvements reached 3-21% depending on workload, with better efficiency and no stability regressions. These changes are now shipping in major distributions.
