Deep depression weakens, brings relief from heavy rain in south Bengal
The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) at Alipore in Kolkata on Saturday said there is no warning of heavy rainfall for south Bengal districts, including Kolkata, from Sunday onwards, as the deep depression affecting the region is expected to weaken into a low-pressure area by Saturday evening.According to the Met Office, rainfall activity is likely to ease from Saturday evening, with no prospects of moderate to heavy rain across south Bengal over the next few days.The deep depression over sou
