The Centre has directed the Delhi Gymkhana Club to hand over its 27.3-acre premises by June 5, saying the land is needed for defence infrastructure and public security purposes. The century-old club has sought clarity on relocation and alternative land, arguing that the move could affect nearly 14,000 members and more than 500 employees.
