FIA approves Formula One rule changes: Shorter Grand Prix races and revised rain delays
Formula One's governing body has announced rule changes for the upcoming season. Race distances will be shortened, and engine development freedom will be maintained. Gearbox homologation plans were scrapped to preserve supplier development freedom. Race time limits were revised to better handle weather disruptions.
