Ukrainian defence-tech company General Cherry has advanced to the second stage of the U.S. Department of Defense’s $1.1 billion Drone Dominance Program (DDP). Aimed at securing affordable, scalable, and EW-resilient strike UAVs for the U.S. Army, the rigorous four-stage selection process will narrow down dozens of global competitors to just five final manufacturers who will receive Pentagon contracts.
