Thane, May 25 (PTI) A 5-year-old girl sustained serious injuries in an attack by stray dogs in Badlapur in Thane district, an official said on Monday. The incident took place two days ago in Kasgaon when Ovi Naresh Rane was playing outside her house, he said. "Four to five stray dogs attacked her. Her screams alerted those passing by, who managed to chase away the dogs. She was admitted to the Badlapur rural hospital and discharged after treatment," he said.
