IIT Bombay Student Protest Eases As Classes Resume After Sahil Wakode Death Row; Political Demonstrations Continue Outside Campus

Protests at IIT Bombay eased after the administration met students during a nearly four-hour open house to discuss their 18-point charter of demands. The institute apologised over its earlier communication about Sahil Wakode’s death and removed Professor Surya Doolla as Dean of Administrative Affairs. Students returned to classes but said they would continue monitoring further action.
