NEW DELHI: Indians can expect to live longer than their counterparts in Pakistan, but have shorter lives than people in Bangladesh, the US and Canada,
The logic behind the measure is that hospitals may order additional diagnostic tests, recommend procedures and extend hospital stays when patients have comprehensive insurance cover.
