The Maharashtra government has announced 27 new cancer day-care units to improve treatment access across the state. Health Minister Prakash Abitkar said the expansion will reduce travel burdens on patients while strengthening chemotherapy, screening, HPV vaccination, and advanced cancer diagnostic services.
