Mezzetta is investigating potential pest contamination after an apparent mouse was discovered inside a jar of Golden Greek Peperoncini, according to federal regulators.
Federal regulators last week announced a recall of peperoncini — yellow-green pickled chili peppers — after a customer posted a video showing her unexpectedly discovering what appeared to be a dead mouse inside her jar.
