Ozempic may be reshaping the brain, scientists say

Scientists are exploring how GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic may not only be a metabolism breakthrough, but could also reshape some patients’ brains. GLP-1s were originally developed to treat diabetes and obesity, but researchers at the University of Colorado Anschutz have found that the drugs increased brain connectivity in some patients and may rewire brains beyond quieting appetites, researchers told the Washington Post.
