Rajasthan’s Medical and Health Department issued an Ebola alert and directed hospitals and airport authorities to intensify surveillance, especially for passengers arriving from African countries. Isolation wards and emergency preparedness measures have been activated despite no Ebola cases being reported in the state so far.
