This Chinese device can detect trains running underground
Chinese researchers have demonstrated a handheld quantum magnetometer by successfully tracking an underground subway train, as detailed in a study published in Acta Physica Sinica.
The handheld quantum magnetometer was developed by Peng Xinhua and his team at the University of Science and Technology of China.
