Paper2Agent, published in Nature on September 16 by Stanford researchers, converts static research papers into callable AI agents via MCP servers in 45 minutes for $14. The system validates tools against known outputs to prevent hallucinated code, and enables agent collaboration -- two paired agents surfaced an unreported ADHD genetic variant.
