Researchers at Wake Forest University School of Medicine have developed an AI tool that can identify three types of heart dysfunction using ECG data. The model performed nearly as well using a single ECG lead as it did with a standard 12 lead ECG, suggesting potential for future adaptation to wearable based screening.
