AUKUS (Australia, UK, US) partners plan to develop, produce and deploy cutting-edge technologies for uncrewed underwater vessels (UUV). These capabilities aim to boost warfighting readiness, with first systems expected by 2027. The project is under Pillar 2 of AUKUS, focusing on advanced military capabilities. Payloads will be integrated across all three nations' UUV fleets to enhance collective deterrence and protect critical undersea infrastructure.
