Regional authorities said the bodies of Nirmal Purja, Chinese climber Zhong Wang, Nepali climbers Nima Sherpa and Kilu Sherpa and another Sherpa climber were flown from the base camp of Broad Peak to the city's airbase by military helicopters before being transported to Skardu. Three other bodies had been brought down from the mountain on August 1.
