Until a few months ago, Phil Smith had no idea men could get breast cancer. Smith, 64, of the NSW Central West town of Parkes, was blissfully unaware the blood stains on his shirt were a sign of the insidious disease. Thankfully, his wife Donna knew men could also be afflicted with breast cancer and urged him to get checked, something that may well have saved his life.
