Ahead of its IPO, SBI Mutual Fund tells Moneycontrol its biggest growth opportunity lies within SBI's own customer base. With only 5.5 million of the bank's 530 million customers currently investing in mutual funds, the fund house believes Universal KYC and seamless investing through YONO could unlock the next wave of retail participation.
