The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence busted a pan-India gold smuggling syndicate allegedly using courier networks to transport foreign-origin gold. DRI seized 6.61 kg gold valued at Rs 10.36 crore and arrested 11 people across multiple cities. Investigators said the network may have moved nearly 318 kg of smuggled gold worth about Rs 475 crore.
