A former FBI agent has been charged with allegedly stealing more than USD 900,000 in cryptocurrency from accounts the bureau was monitoring during a national security investigation. Court records say Patrick Steven Yaroch used internal access to transfer the funds to a personal account and later searched ChatGPT about moving to Europe before his arrest.
