Spotify has launched a new feature which makes it possible to add notes to songs. There are various reasons for wanting to add notes to tracks, including attaching memories to them, or recording thoughts and ideas relating to them. The feature is also being billed as a way to make playlist content more “personal [and] narrative-driven”, but there is really no limit to the ways in which you can make use of the text that can now be added to tracks.
