iOS 27 may bring smart bill splitting to iPhones, challenging Splitwise and Venmo

Apple is reportedly developing a new iPhone feature that allows users to split bills by simply taking a photo of a receipt. The tool will calculate individual shares, including tax and tips, and send payment requests through Apple Cash.
