The US-German company has acquired a land parcel in Sanand, Gujarat, for establishing its second facility in the region to capitalise on the state's emergence as a chip packaging centre, top company executives told ET. Linde is currently building an air separation unit in Dholera, Gujarat to service an upcoming semiconductor fab of the Tata Group. It also has an air separation plant in Dahej and packaged gases unit in Ahmedabad.
