Mazda Argued Against Touchscreens for Years, Now Says They’re Safer

The 2026 Mazda CX-5 swaps physical climate controls for a touchscreen, and a CX-5 program manager now says the high-mounted screen's virtual controls are better for drivers than lower tactile ones.
