A new study in Nature Cancer found that montelukast, a common asthma drug, blocks a molecule called CysLTR1 that tumours use to hijack immune cells. In lab and animal models, it slowed tumour growth and restored immunotherapy response in aggressive cancers like triple-negative breast cancer.
