DUBLIN, Ireland: New figures show that at the start of last year, patients owed the Health Service Executive (HSE) nearly 60 million euros in hospital bills they had not paid after being discharged. Private health insurance companies also owed 138.4 million euros for treatments carried out in public hospitals.
