PUC permits Xcel Energy to collect 5.8% more for electricity

SAINT PAUL — The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission last week issued a verbal decision approving Xcel Energy's request to increase its return on equity, which will permit the company to collect about 5.8% more from electric customers.
