Agreement: I Agree Body: Dear Editor The current consultation on the draft General Medical Council Order 2026 follows Lord Mann’s review, which recommended retaining the GMC’s right of appeal. This reversed the previous policy position, following the Williams Review of 2018, that the appeal power should be removed (albeit after considerable delay). The draft Order would preserve that appeal right whilst also introducing a financial framework under which the regulator would gain the power to set
