Saskatchewan adds Alyftrek to cystic fibrosis drug coverage

Saskatchewan residents living with cystic fibrosis now have access to provincial coverage for a new medication. As of Aug. 1, Alyftrek is covered for eligible cystic fibrosis patients aged six and older who meet the medical criteria. The medication is approved for patients with one of 266 rare genetic mutations that cause cystic fibrosis.
