Bending Spoons, the Italian company that bought AOL, Vimeo, Evernote, and Eventbrite, raised $1.68 billion at an $18.4 billion valuation on the Nasdaq Tuesday. Its edge: cutting most of the staff it acquired, then letting AI write 90 percent of its code.
