Apple plans to skip the M6 Pro and Max chip generations, but this does not necessarily mean that the launch of the rumoured new touchscreen MacBook will be delayed. According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the device will be released with the flagship M5 chips, which made their debut earlier this year.
