Heavy tomato arrivals have created a space crunch at Indore’s Choithram wholesale mandi, with supplies exceeding the city’s daily consumption of 5,000–7,000 crates. Wholesale prices range from ₹6 to ₹20 per kg. Traders have also flagged garbage disposal, loading-unloading difficulties and alleged irregularities in mandi fee collection.
