Commodity trader Trafigura recorded soaring net profits in its first half 2026 results, amid a climate of extreme commodity volatility. Trafigura's first half, which runs from October 2025 to March 2026, saw profits of $4.1 billion, "driven by broad-based contributions from each major commercial division".
