The UN's International Maritime Organization paused its plan to evacuate more than 11,000 sailors stranded in the Strait of Hormuz after Iran objected and a cargo ship was reportedly struck near Oman. The IMO says around 600 ships remain stranded in the region, with at least 14 sailors killed since the Iran war began in February.
