US FDA approves GSK's oral antibiotic for drug-resistant UTIs

The U.S. FDA has approved ​GSK's oral antibiotic to treat complicated ‌urinary tract infections, the regulator said on Wednesday, giving patients a ​new treatment option against ​drug-resistant infections.
