Co-hosts Canada and United States got their World Cup campaigns underway, with the US getting off to a flying start, thumping Paraguay 4-1. Canada was held to a 1-1 draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina after going behind thanks to a header from Jovo Lukic. Southampton's Cyre Larin got the equaliser as Jesse Marsch's side shared the points in their first game.
